Joaquim Barreiros, his father owned a set (Conjunto Alegria)
which brought joy to everything that was festivities in the region, Quim Barreiros felt from a young age that music would be his future. Leaving his homeland very early in pursuit of his dream of a musical career, he settled in Lisbon in his early years, where he would meet his wife Isabel Barreiros. Later he traveled the world showing the joy and culture of Minho's rhythms.
Already with an established career, probably becoming the biggest name in Portuguese popular music, with the aim of enhancing the land where he was born, he thought about and created a tourist enterprise, thus creating the Albergaria Quim Barreiros project.
